Feedings
You are eating 4 to 6 (maybe more) 6 ounce bottles of formula a day. You're still not crazy about your sippy cup but we keep trying! You hold your bottle all by yourself but mommy still sneaks in bedtime snuggles and helps you hold it at bedtime!
You continue to eat oatmeal mixed with fruit in the mornings and baby food every night. You love all your veggies and the mixed meals and are quite demanding when you're in your high chair! We introduced Puffs this month too and boy do you love those! It's so cute to watch you pick them up and feed yourself! You're quite the big, independent girl!

You often take meal time to load your diaper.

Sleeping
Eight months was rough! You went through a phase while daddy was a Tactical Medical school where you were getting up a few times a night! It was wearing on mommy since I was the only one home but we made it. You got much better at staying asleep longer when daddy came home!
We love watching you rub your eyes and play with your own hair when you're tired, it's so sweet to watch you!
You still fight naps off some but you will sleep about thirty minutes to an hour when you do! Sometimes two to three hours! You still sleep in the car and most of the time you will fall asleep in the car and stay asleep for a bit when we get home! Mommy loves being able to get a little done while you're snoozing away!
You always wake up playing and all smiles!
Just a little snooze in the car after a long day at work with mommy on the last day!
We love pulling you into bed and sleeping in on the weekends!
We do books before bedtime though you're more
interested in playing or eating them!
Clothes/Diapers
You're inching out of 3 to 6 month clothes and wearing mostly 6 to 9 month outfits! You're still rocking the size 3 shoes quite well!
You're officially in size 3 diapers!! We STILL haven't bought a single pack of diapers or wipes! Daddy's Beer & Diaper party was a huge success and we'll be using those diapers for quite some time!
Teeth
I see those teeth and they're so close to busting through but I can't quite count them as "in"!
Milestones
You're still army crawling everywhere and pulling yourself up to all fours but you haven't quite crawled yet! You're so very close! Not to mention, you will pull yourself up to standing too! I'm looking forward to lots of fun when mommy is home for the summer!
Kimber Likes:
* Vegetables: So far everything we've given you, you don't seem to mind!
* Playing with your toys, especially you new music set!
You just love playing in general!
* Bath Time!!! You've figured out how to splash!!
* Your Feet
* Bows - For a certain amount of time, when you're done with them you pull on them until you get
them off or mommy takes them off.
* Mirrors
* Any toy that sings and makes noise
* Your Daddy! Specifically, his hats!
Kimber Dislikes:
* Being Hungry
* Too much time on her tummy.
* Getting your fingernails trimmed!!
* Getting your boogies sucked!
* Not having everyone's full attention!

Other News:
This month was your first Prom! You got to see Aunt Bails off to her Junior Prom! 
You don't quite match her dress but you two are beautiful anyway!
You also attended your Aunt Sarah's graduation from KU!
Aunt Sarah & Kimber on Graduation Day!
And we celebrated our First Mother's Day together! I'm so proud to be your mommy! You are everything perfect in my world!

Kimber, I hope you never get tired of us telling you how much we love you! You are the best thing to happen to us and you make our family complete! We love to watch you explore the world and grow!
