Me, Baby Girl and her Great Grandma Bostwick at Grandma's 90th Birthday!
Should have grabbed my daddy and got a four generation picture!
How far along? 30 weeks
Sleep: Sleep changes daily. The hip and leg pain has set in. Some nights I can get comfy, some nights I toss and turn. I miss actual, restful sleep!
Best moment this week: We got to hear the baby last week (week 29) and scheduled the rest of our appointments! I can't believe it! I also was told at our appointment that I passed the gestational diabetes test! This was a huge relief to me, with the history of diabetes that runs in our families. This week, we went shopping for Aunt Sarah's wedding dress, and bought one! She'll be beautiful and Baby Girl will be here to celebrate the Big Day! Also this week, my family is town for my Grandma Bostwick's 90th Birthday! Baby Girl even kicked when Great Grandma had her hand on my belly! Having family around is always great! Oh, and we've been working on the nursery! The crib is set up, the cradle is set up, everything is coming together!
Miss Anything? Sleep, Sleep, Sleep! I miss sleep. Now that it's summer time I'm starting to miss a cold adult beverage but I'm surviving!
Movement: Yes! She kicks her momma a lot! It feels like she's in there rolling around all the time!
Food cravings: Anything I don't have to cook, and anything sweet!!! I've been on a Milky Way kick here lately.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers, but that rarely gets me going! So for now, we're just not cursing anything.
Gender: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Nope, thank goodness!
Symptoms: Heartburn, fatigue, swelling, pregnancy brain, leg cramps, hot flashes (ugh!)
Belly Button in or out? In....starting to push out, which I never thought would happen!
Wedding rings on or off? Since I don't leave the house much I'm keeping them off. The reality is my wedding band is currently incredibly snug and uncomfortable but I'm wearing another diamond band for now. I miss my big pretty ring!
Happy or Moody most of the time: For the most part, happy! But I'm getting sassy! It's summer time and as Dana says I've officially reached the "Pregnant, Hot and Sassy" stage!
Looking forward to: Our Baby Shower!!! I'm so excited to be surrounded by family and friends who already love and spoil this baby! Thank you all of you!
Daddy Moment: He's starting to feel Baby Girl move! Just tonight he had his head on my belly and she kicked him in the ear! I'm dying to see him holding her! Also, as I complain about all the hip and leg pain, he gently reminds me that "[my] body is just stretching and getting ready for her arrival" as annoying as it was at the time (since his body has not changed at all!), it's kinda sweet how he's keeping me positive and down to earth about our Baby Girl's arrival. I love that man more with each day!
