Feedings
You are still nursing with mommy when we're home and I pump at work to provide for you while I'm away. We've started mixing formula and breast milk though because you are a very hungry monkey and sadly, with only one chance to pump during the day at work, momma just can't keep up. :( We started giving you rice cereal, mixed with breastmilk, to keep you full before bed time! You're doing awesome all the way around!
Sleeping
You're such an awesome sleeper! You continue to sleep all the way through the night and mommy and daddy are totally loving it! At around 11 weeks old, you started waking up at 2 am because you were starving! We accounted some of this to a growth spurt and decided to start giving you rice cereal before bed. Doing so has brought you back to sleeping through the night! You still sleep in the cradle next to our bed but over Christmas Break we'll be transitioning you to your room and crib. Mommy is nervous but I know you'll do great! You're getting to be such a big girl!
Sleeping beauty!
Clothes/Diapers
You still fit perfect into your 0-3 month clothes! Some of the Christmas outfits people got you are size 3 to 6 month and we've been wearing those too but they are still just a tad too big; not for long though I'm sure!
You're still in size 1 diapers and we STILL haven't bought a single pack of diapers or wipes! Daddy's Beer & Diaper party was a huge success and we'll be using those diapers for quite some time!
Milestones
Where do I begin! You are full of milestones this month! We love all your genuine smiles and giggles and you are usually full of them! You smile and laugh at everyone! You're quite the talker too; making all kinds of noises! Everyone you meet just falls in love with you!
In the third month of your life, we celebrated your First Thanksgiving! We went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Steffey's for the day. You got lots of loving from everyone, especually Colt Man. Oh, and Great Grandpa Steffey is totally in love with the two of you; I think you make his day!
On the first Sunday of Advent, Pastor Ron asked you to light the advent candle. Mommy and Daddy were just there to help. You were awesome! Everyone loved that you were awake and looking around when you were at the front of the church.
The BIG milestone this month is that you rolled over!!!! On December 8th I caught you mid roll going from your tummy to your back while mommy was showing off how good you were at tummy time! I think it scared you a little to roll over because you got a little upset! Right before that, you rolled from back to front but you got stuck on your arm and got very upset! One week later, on December 15th, you rolled completely over, back to front, and have been a rolling champ ever since! You don't do tummy to back very often, but you've got back to front down pact!
Mommy caught you mid-roll
Oh, and who can forget your First Santa meeting! Santa made an arrival at the Grange Christmas party on December 13th. You let him hold you and you were quite intrigued by Santa! Good thing he's good friends with your Papa B! ;)
