That light was brighter than I thought...ha ha.
How far along? 38 weeks
Sleep: Sleep. Does that even exist anymore? I'm up so much peeing or trying to find the best position I'm pretty sure I don't get any sleep. And the chair and I are becoming good friends too! Ugh, ready for baby girl to be here.
Best moment this week: I can't think of a specific "best" moment. I went shopping with my mom and finished up some things off my registry on Saturday. On Sunday, I had some pretty regular, strong contractions and we headed to the hospital, ready to meet baby girl! But, we got sent home after 5 hours. :( She wasn't quite ready to make her appearance. At this week's appointment we scheduled induction; hopefully Baby Girl will decide to come sooner!
Miss Anything? Sleep, Sleep, Sleep! I miss sleep. I'm starting to miss a cold adult beverage but I'm surviving! In addition, I miss ankle bones!
Movement: Yes! She kicks her momma a lot! It feels like she's in there rolling around all the time!
Food cravings: Anything I don't have to cook, and anything sweet!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers, but that rarely gets me going! So for now, we're just not cursing anything.
Gender: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Oh yes! Experienced false labor this week! Those were some wicked contractions!!
Symptoms: Heartburn, fatigue, swelling (hello giant sausage feet!), pregnancy brain, leg cramps, hot flashes (ugh!), contractions, anxiety and anxiousness awaiting her arrival
Belly Button in or out? Depending on where Baby Girl is laying; most of the time my belly button is flat. But more and more lately it's pushing it's way out.
Wedding rings on or off? It's off :( I can still get it on but I swell throughout the day making my ring incredibly snug and uncomfortable but I'm wearing another diamond band for now. I miss my big pretty ring!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I'm pretty happy but I'm noticing the smallest things set me off into crazy, angry or tearful! Dang mood swings!
Looking forward to: Having normal feet back! No matter what shoes I wear at the end of the day I always look at my feet and say, 'holy sausage feet'. With that, I'm looking forward to not playing this waiting game and "any day now" bit. I'm so ready to meet our baby, but if she still needs to grow, I guess I can be patient. Of course, we're looking forward to holding our precious baby girl in our arms; things are so close!!!!
Daddy Moment: Vince was a trooper at the hospital Sunday! He kept trying to make me laugh through the pain; I unfortunately didn't find the humor in it and snapped at him but he was supportive the whole time! We're both ready for the real deal. Can't wait for him to see his baby girl!
