All of our friends have been posting "First Day of School" pics, so here's ours!
And Vince decided I should take it in front of 'my' chair in the nursery. See, it's coming together!
How far along? 33 weeks, 4 days
Sleep: Sleep changes daily. The hip and leg pain has set in. Some nights I can get comfy, some nights I toss and turn. I miss actual, restful sleep!
Best moment this week: We heard Baby N's heartbeat again this week and scheduled our last sonogram for 36 weeks to see how she's growing! That's a pretty great moment if you ask me! Also, I went back to school and survived the first two days so that's a win!
Miss Anything? Sleep, Sleep, Sleep! I miss sleep. I'm starting to miss a cold adult beverage but I'm surviving! In addition, I miss ankle bones!
Movement: Yes! She kicks her momma a lot! It feels like she's in there rolling around all the time!
Food cravings: Anything I don't have to cook, and anything sweet!!! I've been on a Milky Way kick here lately. And Laffy Taffy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers, but that rarely gets me going! So for now, we're just not cursing anything.
Gender: Baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Nope, thank goodness!
Symptoms: Heartburn, fatigue, swelling (hello giant sausage feet!), pregnancy brain, leg cramps, hot flashes (ugh!)
Belly Button in or out? In....starting to push out, which I never thought would happen!
Wedding rings on or off? It's off :( I can still get it on but I swell throughout the day making my ring incredibly snug and uncomfortable but I'm wearing another diamond band for now. I miss my big pretty ring!
Happy or Moody most of the time: For the most part, happy! But I'm getting sassy! I've already had a few moments with my new students; we'll see how the next few weeks pan out.
Looking forward to: Having normal feet back! I guess it's my own fault for wearing flip flops to school and standing for 8 hours or so but holy swollen sausage feet!
Daddy Moment: Wednesday night, I was super exhausted and sore and mentioned that a hot shower before bed would help me relax. Vince decided he would draw me a bubble bath instead. Oh my goodness, I had no clue how great a bath could feel! I even woke up super well rested and not sore at all! Dang, I got a good man! I even caught him staring at me while I was sleeping the other night; when I asked him what he was doing he simply said "thinking about how beautiful our baby girl will be, just like her mommy." That seriously warmed my heart. I love that man! Baby Girl will have the best daddy around. I'm excited for him to hold both his "girls" in his arms.
