26 Weeks | Third Trimester!!!

Ugh, not cute, but a picture nonetheless!

How far along? 26 weeks

Maternity clothes? Still rocking pre-preggo shirts and maternity jeans. I'm home most of the time now so my yoga pants are getting worn a lot! And flowy dresses...not sure how cute they look but they're comfortable!

Sleep: What sleep?! I toss and turn and get a little bit of sleep in between. My nap time is cut into and non-existent anymore! No position is comfortable! I'm a belly sleeper and it's just not working for me these days. Oh well, it will be worth it right?!

Best moment this week: So many to mention! I'm including for last week too but a lot has been going on! We got to hear Baby Girl's heartbeat again on June 20th, she kicked the doctor and tried to swim away every time we'd get a good heartbeat. She's a mover! Vince felt her kick, at the truck pull, even though he's trying to say he wasn't sure if it was her or me. Also, we celebrated my birthday over the weekend, it was nice to go out together for a bit. Then we did some registering. I can't believe we're so close to meeting our baby! 
  
Miss Anything? Sleep, I miss sleep. 

Movement: Yes! She kicks her momma a lot! I felt hiccups for the first time the other day! It was crazy!

Food cravings: Anything I don't have to cook!
 
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers, but that rarely gets me going! So for now, we're just not cursing anything.

Gender: Baby Girl!

Labor Signs: Nope, thank goodness! 

Symptoms: Heartburn, fatigue, swelling, pregnancy brain, leg cramps

Belly Button in or out? In....starting to push out, which I never thought would happen!

Wedding rings on or off? On, with warmer weather they're VERY, VERY snug, but on! I don't wanna take my wedding ring off!

Happy or Moody most of the time: I consider myself to be pretty happy! Though there are days I don't even want to be with myself because I'm in such a bad mood. They say it will get better and be worth it. I'm sure hoping so. 

Looking forward to: Motivation! I keep looking at the nursery and I start working on organizing but it only last about 5 minutes before I lose motivation to continue. I'm also looking forward to our baby showers and meeting our baby soon!!!

Daddy Moment: Lately, the first question in the morning has been "How's my girls?" It makes me smile! He was pretty good doing the registry and fought me for the best of the best for his baby. I thought registering was incredibly stressful and I'm sure I was being a butt, but Vince stuck through my mood and the whole process. Can't wait to see our girl in his arms!!

24 Weeks!

Sleep: No position is comfortable! I'm a belly sleeper and it's just not working for me these days. I've found, once I kick Vince out of bed for work in the morning and I can stretch out, I sleep much better. I'm so tired of being tired and not sleeping at night!

Best moment this week (and last week): As I'm typing this, my phone is sitting on my belly jumping around. Baby Girl is moving around and must be in there hitting the phone. :) Of course, seeing my co-workers at Shawn & Sam's wedding this weekend was great! I just love all the people I work with!
  
Miss Anything? Nothing specific. Sleep, I miss sleep. 

Movement: Yes! She kicks her momma a lot! I can't wait for Vince to be able to feel it too. (UPDATE: After I wrote this but before I posted it, Vince did feel her kick once the other day!! Looking forward to him feeling more of her moving!)

Daddy Moment: Vince is not a man who handles change well at all. He's done pretty well so far as my body continues to change but sometimes I can tell it gets to him, and of course it bugs me. But, when he holds my belly or kisses it, my self-consciousness goes away. On a happier note, it was so great to celebrate the wedding of one of my co-workers and hear him (Vince) tell my co-workers just how excited he is for this baby! I keep saying it but, despite the huge change coming, he's going to be an awesome dad!

23 Weeks!

I'm not allowed to go on vacation...I forget entirely about the blog!

Best moment this week (and last week):  Last week, while in Colorado I got to meet, love and cuddle with baby Jaidon! I loved every minute of it! Baby Girl kicked each time I held Jaidon. While vacation was awesome, I was so happy to be home with my boys and the hubs. This week, I get to be a stay-at-home wife again!

Looking forward to: Garage sales; we're having a garage sale and getting rid of a ton of stuff. Then I can start working on the nursery so everything is ready to go when I go back to school for that short time before Baby N arrives.

Daddy Moment: Vince finished up touches on his pulling truck last week by adding two pink K-State Powercats to the back window, one for me, one for Baby Girl. As soon as I got home from Colorado, his first words were "Whoa! You got so big this week!" I know he means it in a good way :) Also, I don't think I'll ever get enough of him holding my belly or kissing it. He already shows so much love for this baby; I can't wait to see her in his arms.
