21 Weeks | Baby Newman is a ....

How far along? 21 weeks

Maternity clothes? Still rocking pre-preggo shirts, maternity jeans and this is my last week that it's required for me to wear work pants!!!! Woo hoo!

Sleep: No position is comfortable! I'm a belly sleeper and it's just not working for me these days. 

Best moment this week: Seeing our baby in the sonogram! Of course, the gender reveal party was amazing....info on that below! 
  
Miss Anything? Nothing specific. Sleep, I miss sleep. 

Movement: Lots of flutters in my belly. Pretty sure its Baby N moving around in there. He/she does a lot of moving at night time though!!

Food cravings: Nothing specific this week.
 
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers, but that rarely gets me going!

 Yup, you can see from the silly string, it's a girl! Oh, and there's your bump picture for the week too! We were both sure it was a boy! Guess our maternal/paternal instincts were all wrong. Thank you Cody & Becki for all your work in getting the silly string together!

Labor Signs: Nope, thank goodness! 

Symptoms: Heartburn off and on, fatigue that's really all I notice...

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On, with warmer weather they're snug, but on! 

Happy or Moody most of the time: I consider myself to be pretty happy! 

Looking forward to: Summer! I can start working on the nursery so everything is ready to go when I go back to school for that short time before Baby N arrives.

Daddy Moment: Too many to count! I love that Vince goes to all of my appointments with me. He keeps me grounded, reminding me it doesn't matter what we're having as long as it's healthy, and he makes the appointments fun (mostly because he's such a goofball and constantly is making me laugh). He was so funny during the sonogram Tuesday; since we weren't going to find out until Friday what the gender was, we had to close our eyes. He kept asking me if I was peeking (I wasn't) and I kept laughing, then I'd stop because I was afraid all my laughter movement would screw up the sono tech from getting the pictures she needed. Such a dork, but he makes me so happy. Oh, and his response to finding out it's a girl, "Well cool."

Halfway | 20 Weeks! :)

Ditching "the outfit" again. I do not rock the cami look well, at all.

 What do you think? Should I go back to the white top with dark bottoms?

Then again, we should be thankful I'm even keeping up on the pics!

Sleep: No position is comfortable! Especially if Vince is home. When he's on shift I have the whole bed to get comfortable but when he's home he's right next to me. I don't hate that he wants to be close but dang, I need some space to get comfy! LOL

Best moment this week: Seeing the crew! And the gender reveal invites came in!!! Excited to get those out by the end of this week.

Looking forward to: I just can't wait to find out what Baby N is!!!!! Just a few more DAYS and our gender reveal party and we'll know if it will be a NEW-MAN or NEW-wo-MAN in our lives!!! 

Daddy Moment: Hearing Vince talk to his buddies about how excited he is for this baby and seeing the look on his face is absolutely heartwarming! He is gonna be an awesome daddy! I'm so blessed!

19 Weeks!!

 I ditched "the outfit" this week because my momma told me the rest 

looked like they were photoshopped. I promise you this is genuine belly :) 

But I can't decide if this hides the belly or makes it huger. Oh well! 

 

How far along? 19 weeks

Maternity clothes? Still rocking pre-preggo shirts but I finally broke down and bought a couple pairs of maternity jeans. Luckily, all of my work pants are still fitting!

Sleep: No position is comfortable! I've added more pillows to the bed and that seems to help but Vince hates them being in between us! I'm just so tired all the time but so restless at the same time.

Best moment this week: We got to hear the heartbeat on Friday! And we scheduled the anatomical sonogram! Not sure if that can be topped this week!

Movement: Not 100% sure but I'm certainly feeling lots of different sensations in my tummy so I think Baby N is moving around in there. He/she does a lot of moving at night time though!!

Looking forward to: Seeing the Shugharts, Andy and I'm sure the rest of the crew over the weekend! We don't get to hang out with these guys enough! Oh, and Mother's Day with the Steffey clan. Hoping to get some Colt loving in this weekend! And of course, I just can't wait to find out what Baby N is!!!!! Just a few more weeks and our gender reveal party and we'll know if it will be a NEW-MAN or NEW-wo-MAN in our lives!!! 

Daddy Moment: I'm taking it as a compliment but, the other day Vince noticed that my baby bump has gotten "huge!" Feeling a little more pregnant these days :) And I can't get enough of the "I love you baby"'s he gives me in the morning followed by the "I love this baby too" while he's holding my belly. So blessed! I love hearing him say how excited he is for this kid! He's gonna be a fantastic dad!
