18 Weeks!!

How far along? 18 weeks (Week 17 went by too fast! And it's hard to keep up with this!)

Maternity clothes? Pants are snug, I hate jeans and even loose shirts are getting tight. May be time to go shopping. 

Sleep: No position is comfortable! I stole one of Vince's pillows last night and that seemed to help. I'm just so tired all the time but so restless at the same time.

Best moment this week: So many great moments! I got to go to Manhattan with a group of students last week. I miss that place so much but I got in some Salsarita's and Call Hall ice cream so life was good! On Saturday, I helped Ali & Robert celebrate their wedding. My first wedding as a preggo photographer, LOL! I had a blast! Today, I finally told my students!! They were all so excited. I finally feel like the secret is officially out. Hmm....what else? We've been blessed these past few weeks it's hard to pin point one "best" moment. 
  
Miss Anything? Nothing specific. I caught a whiff of those Bud Light Straw-Ber-Rita's and it made me really want one but I'll survive. 

Movement: Not 100% sure but I'm certainly feeling lots of different sensations in my tummy so I think Baby N is moving around in there. He/she does a lot of moving at night time though!!

Food cravings: Nothing specific this week. I saw someone with a Bomb Pop and I was then obsessed with having one! I don't feel like I have cravings, I just get a food thought in my head and can't stop thinking about it until I have one.
 
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really...bad smells and too hot showers.
 
Gender: We don't know for sure but I've got a feeling it's a boy...we'll see! A girl would be awesome too! 

Labor Signs: Nope, thank goodness! 

Symptoms: I don't wanna jinx myself but I think *some* symptoms are slowly going away! But heartburn, ugh heartburn. I've never had heartburn before and I could've gone without ever experiencing it. According to my students, I've been "meaner/moodier/sassier" lately so I guess that would be a symptom, huh?!

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On, with warmer weather they're snug, but on! 

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy & SUPER EXCITED. Of course, I have my moody days :) I'm noticing I'm a little moodier at school these days. Could it be pregnancy or end of the year frustration? The students even think I'm "sassier" these days. 

Looking forward to: Our appointment on Friday! At least we can hear the heartbeat. Then we'll get to schedule the anatomical sono!!! Can't wait to find out what we're having! I also look forward to actually looking pregnant and not just fat (feeling more pregnant by the day), getting a nursery set up....so many things to look forward to! A gender reveal party and getting Daddy on board to some of my crazy ideas for the reveal! :)

Daddy Moment: Since Saturday was my first wedding as a preggo, he was constantly checking in so I don't stress "his" baby. It was so sweet. He's still super obsessed with my belly and it's so sweet! He's gonna be a fantastic daddy! I can hardly wait! 

16 Weeks!

Hello there! Super close-up this week! 

How far along? 16 weeks

Maternity clothes? Pants are snug, I hate jeans and even loose shirts are getting tight. May be time to go shopping. 

Sleep: I wake up at exactly 3 a.m. every morning, lay awake for a while then fall back asleep. And when the alarm goes off, I just don't wanna get up. Besides that, sleep is great! 

Best moment this week: Hmmm....actually waking up with my husband on Saturday was a perk! Oh, and the fact he made me some breakfast was pretty awesome too! Also, Friday night I went and helped him work on the pulling truck (I really went to watch) and ended up setting the motor back down in the frame while he ran the jack! My first big block! Woot! Go me! 
  
Miss Anything? Tongue brushing, my daily Pepsi, not getting heartburn from chocolate! Nothing major, it's totally worth it! 

Movement: Too early, but I'm looking forward to it! I felt some butterflies when I was working on the truck Friday, some books say it could've been the baby moving around. Can't wait to know for sure! 

Food cravings: Nothing specific this week.

Daddy Moment: He's making me crazy! I came home from tutoring Thursday night and he thought it was time to do some more cleaning and putting away of things in the baby's room. He's ready to get things set up, but at 8:30 at night, I was ready for bed! Oh, and every morning when we wake up he turns over, puts his arms around my belly and says "Good morning baby girl .... and baby!" It's the little things that make me smile. I'm so blessed that he is so excited, even when his excitement makes me crazy! I love him so much more with each and every day. 

15 Weeks!

How far along? 15 weeks

Maternity clothes? Nope, but I'm noticing my pants are getting a little snug and I'm running out of loose shirts (since I haven't told my student's yet).
Sleep: I feel mostly good when I wake up, but I want 5 more minutes, and 5 more, and 5 more and 5 more.....
Best moment this week: I felt very accomplished when I came up with a meal plan for the week. Maybe some maternal/wifely instincts are finally kicking in.
Miss Anything? Being able to brush my tongue, still. And...adult beverages! Dear friends and family who are sending me pics or posting pics of those Bud Light Staw-ber-ita things, you are torturing me! I want one so bad. I also want to try Redd's Apple Ale. I'm not a big drinker any way but all these new fruity drinks make me want them!

Daddy Moment: I had the checkbook the other day and noticed that Vince always puts something in the memo line. I came across a payment to the OB and in the memo line he wrote, in all caps, BABY!!. I knew he was excited, but I had no idea just how excited he was. It's the little things.

14 Weeks | Second Trimester!

How far along? 14 weeks

Maternity clothes? Nope, but I'm noticing my pants are getting a little snug, especially after a meal and Vince is noticing a "bump". This morning he told me we're gonna have to get some preggo pants soon. Not sure if I should take it as a compliment or insult but with the amount of love he had in his voice when he said it, I'll go with compliment. 
Sleep: The new mattress is here and sleeps great! It's just been a busy week so I'm still super tired all the time!
Best moment this week: The new mattress! Ha ha, you know you're getting old when the highlight of the week is a mattress! Oh and we are officially in the second trimester! Yippee!
Miss Anything? Being able to brush my tongue, still.
